The Garland Alliance of Black School Educators (GAABSE) is hosting:

College 101: A College Readiness Mini Conference and PEACE Forum on Saturday, December 3, 2011.

It is a completely FREE event which begins at 8:45 am and concludes at 12:00 pm. The target audience consists of high schoolers grades 9 - 12 and parent(s)/guardian(s) of high school students. This mini conference will be offering several sessions that address Financial Aid, the FAFSA & TAFSA, ACT & SAT, Portfolio Building, Trade Schools, and Dress for Success to name a few.

Lunch is complimentary and includes two slices of pizza. Please have your students, colleagues, and community contacts register for this initiative at http://tinyurl.com/GAABSE-College101!
